    The church was built in 1866, upon the initiative of Armenians migrated from the town Maku of Persia. It is a basilic church divided into three naves by means of two rows each composed of three pillars. At the end of the middle nave is the semicircular altar, on the sides of which are the sacristies. On the right and left sides of the altar are vaulted niches, baptistery basin is nearby the left-side sacristy. Vaulted arches are resting upon the pillars and wall pillars. Walls are plastered with lime. There are entrances on the southern, western and northern sides. The church is built of the local grey stone.
