NEW TESTAMENT'S INTERPRETATION

Each person understands and interprets various parts of the Holy Bible in his/her own way. The Armenian Apostolic Church admits interpretations of those saints and Church fathers who have proved by means of their life, biography, wonders they have worked that they are the chosen ones by God and are granted the graces of the Holy Spirit. In difference to sectarians, interpretations of contemporary Armenia clergymen are based on those interpretations of saints.
Below are interpretations and explanations of the verses of the New Testament. You may send seeming to you incomprehensible verses to the e-mail
press@araratian-tem.am and receive explanations and answers to your questions. In due time Abp. Malachia Ormanian, the prominent clergyman of the Armenian Church, scientist, Patriarch of Constantinople (1889-1908) has prepared and published interpretations of the New Testament. His highly valuable work - “Hamapatum” (“Comprehensive Interpretation of the Four Gospels”), written in French, was translated into Eastern Armenian and published by the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin in 1997. Explanations and interpretations made in this section are based on the above mentioned book.
While reading the New Testament you should remember that Evangelists have written it according to the mentality of the given place and period of time.  In the New Testament there are notes prompting where else to read about the same. So, in order not to hesitate or have doubts, you should parallelly read also the corresponding parts written by the other Evangelists.
